Fixed Length Text Visual Column Definition

Use the Visual Column Definition control to define how a fixed length line is split into multiple columns.

Accept Button

Click this button to accept the current line splits and return to the Fixed Length Text Input Definition Form.

You will be prompted to verify that the column lengths, as calculated from the line ruler splits, are correct.

Show Column Offsets Button

Click this button to see how your current column splits on the line ruler will be translated into column widths.

Cancel Button

Cancels current line splits and returns to Fixed Length Text Input Definition Form.
