Export to Excel File

Use this option to write data to Excel workbook files.

You will be prompted for the name of the output file.

XLSX Format (Excel 2007)

Select this item to export data to a spreadsheet formatted in Excel 2007 format.

You do not need to have Excel installed on your machine to write the data. You will need Excel 2007 or later to open the spreadsheet.

XLS Format (Excel 2003)

Select this item to export data to a spreadsheet formatted in Excel 2003 format.

You do not need to have Excel installed on your machine to write the data. You will need Excel 2003 or later to open the spreadsheet.

CSV Format

Select this item to export data to a comma separated value .CSV file.

You can either open the output file in a text editor (e.g. Notepad) or in the Excel application.
